IGN Have A PS3 Slim In The Office?

Over at IGN they have posted their latest podcast called Game Scoop! Podcast, Episode 127. At around the 45 minute mark the PS3 Slim was mentioned.

“Because we have one for real.”

“Yeah, but that’s…”

“Yeah, but that’s under wraps.”

“Sorry, I wasn’t supposed to say that, was I?”

“We can edit that out. David can edit that out.”

“45 minutes. OK.”

Could this be a simple joke due to the amount of rumours of late or could this be a simple mistake? if this is actually true then this would confirm the slim is real and is almost here. Head over to the podcast and listen for yourself but be quick just in case its removed

WWE Smackdown Vs Raw 2010 Info

The game's development was officially announced at E3 on June 1, 2009 by WWE, Yuke's, and THQ. THQ Vice President of Global Brand Management Brian Coleman stated that the company's goal is to offer "players extensive creative freedom and make WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2010 the most authentic, entertaining and compelling simulation of live WWE programming to date. In numerous interviews at E3, WWE wrestler John Morrison discussed that the main theme for the game would be based around customization and said that one of the many new features would have to do with creating ring attires for wrestlers in the game. THQ stated that more information regarding the development of the game would be released on August 23, 2009 during WWE's SummerSlam pay-per-view event.

My Favorite PS3 Games So Far

Below is a list of my favorite PlayStation 3 games played so far, and a quick reason why.

  1. LittleBigPlanet (the reason why i think this game is a must buy for anyone with a ps3 is the fact you can build your own levels, share them with everyone around the world and having so many levels to play with new ones added every day this game is hard to put down, how many games can say they are updated with levels and add ons as much as LBP?)
  2. killzone 2 (This game was hyped to the moon and back but did end up looking as amazing as the first trailer that was ever shown. The AI in this game is the best i have ever seen the enemy are always looking for ways to flank you, and when their cover is destroyed they look for cover instead of staying there in the open like most games do)
  3. Metal Gear Solid 4 (This game as it all from amazing story to a really well worked online feature which requires tactics and teamwork)
  4. InFamous (Super hero or super villain this game allows you to make the choice which means you need to play twice at least to experience the story and powers from both sides)
  5. Sacred 2: Fallen Angel (With over 500 quests and the choice of playing as any of the 6 different classes, coop online and offline with up to 4 players this game as hundreds of hours of gameplay plus it will have DLC at some point in the future which will no doubt add even more quests and maybe more classes)
  6. Uncharted (Amazing graphics and story with likable characters. I have also took part in the Uncharted 2 beta and must say the online and coop features work really well which were two of the things the first one i think should of included, also the graphics are even better in the sequel, the first was hard to beat but Uncharted 2 is much longer in terms of single player mode and with the new online features this will make the game a big hit this Christmas)
So there you go these are my top games so far but with games like MAG, Gran Turismo and God Of War 3 coming soon my list of top games played may change. Whats your favorites games?
