This next part will be in a hotfix this week 31st July 2014

We have added one more leveling band.
if you are only one Tier higher, you get 75%.

Two Tiers gives you 25%

Three Tiers is 10%.

If you are three or more Tiers higher than the boss, you get one point of prestige instead of 0.

Tier 1 was changed to start CR 30 rather than CR 40. This is because of the T2 Novice raids being CR30. Net result is more content for people CR 40 and under to get prestige from.

Tier 5 was changed to start at CR 94 rather than CR 103. This is because there were bosses that were at a lower CR. The net result here is you are now considered to be in the tier 5 band at CR 94. If you are Tier 5, any bosses with a CR at, or greater than, 94 will give you 100% Prestige.

Tier 6 was changed to start at CR 106 rather than 115. This should make it easier for you to understand. If you are CR 106, you are considered to be in the Tier 6 band. This means if you fight any bosses under 106, you are getting less prestige.

Changed the displayed CR on some content, which doesn't actually affect stats:
The Play as Iconics had their visual CR changed to make it so that they actually fell within the tier that they are in. They all went up. If you were Tier 5 and did one of the Tier 5 Play as Iconics, you would have only gotten 10% Prestige, now you'll get 100%. If you were Tier 3 and were doing them, you would have previously gotten 100%, which you will still get after the change. Everyone benefits. Again, this is strictly visual, so back-end calculations will work.
The DLC10 Duos also had their visual CR changed slightly from 105 to 106 to match the new definition of Tier 6.

So, what are the new ranges, and how do they work? The new ranges are below. Basically if you are higher than the CR for the Tier, but lower than the next one, that is your Tier. This is for both your CR and any boss.

Tier:    MinCR - MaxCR
Pre-30:       0 - 29
Tier 1:       30 - 55
Tier 2:       56 - 79
Tier 3:       80 - 88
Tier 4:       89 - 93
Tier 5:       94 - 105
Tier 6:     106+
For example. If you are CR 83, you are considered Tier 3. This is because you are greater than or equal to 80 but less than 89.

Another example is if you are CR 105, you are Tier 5. This is because you are greater than 94, but less than 106.
