LittleBigPlanet GOTY Edition Includes DLC

MCV reports that a LittleBigPlanet "Game of the Year" edition will release for the PlayStation 3 later this year. The new version will allegedly feature much of the game's (large wealth of) DLC previously released over the PlayStation Network.

This information is currently being reported by a UK site, so this may be Europe only -- which has been known to happen with situations involving big DLC bundles.

The original LittleBigPlanet is currently available for as little as £11.99 at certain online retailers.

More Killzone 2 DLC And Trophies Coming

The following are new trophies

Bronze

• Flamethrower Monkey Kill 10 enemies in one round using the Flamethrower in Suljeva Cliffside
• Suljeva Conqueror Win a round with a minimum of 5 mission wins in Suljeva Cliffside
• Boltgun Monkey Kill 10 enemies in one round using the Boltgun in Arctower Landing
• Arctower Conqueror Win a round with a minimum of 5 mission wins in Arctower Landing

Silver

• Flamethrower Junkie Kill 20 enemies in one round using the Flamethrower in Suljeva Cliffside
• Suljeva Killer Kill 50 enemies in one round in Suljeva Cliffside
• Boltgun Junkie Kill 20 enemies in one round using the Boltgun in Arctower Landing

The next DLC pack will be called “Napalm & Cordite” and will be released 23rd of July and cost 800 Yen (5.99 Euros). Two new maps, "Suljeva Cliffside" and "Arctower Landing" will be introduced. Moreover, two new weapons will make their way into the multiplayer mode, those being the flamethrower and boltgun.

360 Title Coming To The PS3 This Year

Over at TheSixthAxis site they are teasing a 360 game coming to the PS3 this year, what could it be?

• Banjo Kazooie
• Mass Effect
• Left 4 Dead
• Alan Wake

Trine's Crazy Pricing

I must say the game looks very good and a game i would like to buy but if these prices are right then i wont be buying £19.99 is $32.34 or $19.99 is £12.35 so the US are getting a much better deal out of this £12.35 is the most i would be willing to pay for this if the US is getting it for $19.99 why should we pay almost double the price they are paying.I would expect this is a mix up and will be sorted soon.

Also there is no demo for us on the PSN but the there is a demo for the PC version and there will be a platinum trophy (total of 32 trophies: 6 bronze, 23 silver and 3 gold and of a course platinum trophy once you unlock all others) the game will be out by the end of July.

LBP Ghostbusters DLC Revealed And Priced

The much talked about Ghostbusters DLC as been revealed for Japan

• 200 yen for the Ghostbuster costume
• 200 for the ghost costume
• 200 for the Stay Puft costume
• 200 for the absolutely awesome Slimer hat
• or 600 yen for the lot

Hopefully we will hear something very soon from SCEE about UK/Euro prices. The DLC is coming next week and LBP DLC is normally released worldwide at the same time so expect word soon from SCEE and SCEA.

Football Management Games On The PS3

Whatever happened to football manager games there is yet to be one on the PlayStation 3

LMA manager 2007
Was the last in the series to be released on PC, PS2 and Xbox360.The series is currently on hold, after Codemasters decided not to create anymore games until further notice. The reason for doing so, was to focus on other projects. There is a speculation that Codemasters will start to work on LMA Manager 2011 in 2010.

Premier Manager
Between 2002 and 2009, seven more versions of Premier Manager were released by Zoo Digital. Each with minor graphical, interface and statistic upgrades. All were released on just the Windows and PlayStation 2 platforms only with the exception of the 2004 and 2005 versions which were released for the Game Boy Advance system as well. Because Premier Manager 2005 regarded places such as Tibet and Hong Kong as separate states, the game was banned in China by the Ministry of Culture. Premier Manager 09 is the current version of Zoo Digital's Premier Manager game, released in 2009 for the Windows, PlayStation 2 systems.

Championship Manager
Mostly release's on the PC, 2008 was on Windows PC and Mac OS X.2009 is yet to release but will be PC and Mac only.

I do miss playing games like Premier Manager and LMA Manager on my PlayStation 2.And the FIFA series games are just not the same in depth having only a limited amount of 15 seasons and transfers that don't feel very realistic. I'm hoping we do end up seeing Football management games on the PlayStation 3 this was one of the things that made the PlayStation 2 great by having a huge amount of different genres and games. If we all ask Zoo Digital(makers of Premier Manager) and Codemasters (makers of the LMA Manager series) to bring there games to the PlayStation 3 they might see there is a demand and make Football Management games for the PlayStation 3.

LittleBigPlanet Object Publishing Coming Soon

Media Molecule’s Alex Evans has confirmed that they plan to allow users to publish objects. At the moment you can only publish completed levels, or send objects to friends over PSN, but that’s about to change. “One of the original ideas that was axed from the original game was that you could publish objects from the game online, not just levels, and you’d be credited with the use of those object,” said Evans.

“I think something like that will really boost [accessibility] – if you’re just a beginner user, you can go and browse not just for levels, but for cars, let’s say. Take that, sticker it up, and you’re done – and that will change the barriers to entry.” He also mentions tweaks to the creation tools themselves, and then re-iterates that both of those things – changing the tools themselves, and changing how you share “are coming.”

Media Molecule are going all out with LittleBigPlanet,if only all developers supported there games the way they do. This new feature sounds good and adds even more to a already great game. I also find it great that there addig this to LittleBigPlanet and not holding it back for LittleBigPlanet 2, could this be what the 80mb patch is for?

Patch Lands On LittleBigPlanet

80MB Patch Lands On LittleBigPlanet but what does it include? At this moment in time its being kept secret even the patch was a secret, it seems it could be to do with future content (Ghostbusters?) lets hope it's something big.

Modern Warfare 2 New Cover

It appears Activision have changed there minds on not including Call Of Duty on the cover and title.

My opinion this is a good thing as this will help Modern Warfare 2 sell more as people are familiar with the Call Of Duty brand name now that it would be crazy to drop this now especially as Activision are hoping for Modern Warfare 2 to become the best selling game ever.

Grainger Games Expanding To 80 Stores

Grainger Games as 22 stores in the north of England and Scotland, but are about to expand to the south of England in the hope of competing with Game, the hope is to expand to 80 stores.Grainger Games have also taken on former Gamestation regional manager Phil Moore as sales director.

"I can absolutely see a time when we have 80 stores. My long term plan is to grow Grainger Games into a nationally recognised brand that delivers real value to every customer, across every revenue channel"
