Today i was talking to a friend of mine who used to work in the gaming industry for many years and as made alot of friends with people in high places within companies like Capcom, EA, etc. Well today he told me about some upcoming games for the Playstation brand, so over the coming weeks a will share these with you but please take them as rumour only because sometimes information can be wrong or may change.
Ok the first game is Resistance 3 this is what i have been told
Insomniac games are working on Resistance 3 for a Christmas 2010 release on the PlayStation 3. Insomniac games are working on a rotation between the Resistance series and the Ratchat and Clank series meaning Resistance one year then Ratchat and Clank then back to Resistance again, see below.

Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction October 23, 2007
Resistance 2 November 4, 2008
Ratchet & Clank Future: A Crack in Time Fall 2009

Also there will be more focus on Cooperative mode (which was for me the best feature from Resistance 2 and seemed very popular) play meaning more levels and maybe more players (8-12) depending on lag and testing.Competitive mode may also see an increase from 60 players to around 100.
Thats all i have been told for now concerning Resistance 3 if i do here any more i will post it here.
just to update i have heard a bit more info about resistance 3 that now makes me think its a sure for fall 2010
